Juv Spuggy + Your help please
Hi,

Some of you will be aware that after the last three months I have been having dreadfull problems with my eyesight, I have had to wear glasses to read for a while now but was always able to work at the computer without. Recently I have been having to wear my reading glasses at the computer and I have been having huge difficulty judging certain things like sharpening.

Last night whilst typing up some letters I noticed that I could see the screen clearly without glasses so abandoned the letters till later and did a quick process of this image taken during a session trying to illustrate the 'feed me' behaviour, I was hoping to get one of the parents in, but they were resoluely ignoring their offspring on the top of the nearby barn....

Could you be so kind as to let me know if the sharpening here is OK and that my middle aged eyes aren't letting me down too much. Not actually posting for critique so haven't included any techs.

Many thanks & speak soon.

Phil

you may be usm (*, 0.1, *) out, but thats always a matter of opinion - otherwise it looks sharp to me - but a tad yellow.

Hi Phil,
Looks sharp to me aswell , agree with Tom about the yellow cast.

Kind regards
Andy...

Sharpening looks fine Phil - not sure about the 'yellow' cast as it could be the light you shot in - the yellow pine the youngster is sat on is the dominant colour and could be fooling the viewer's eye. The leg and beak colour of the spug look OK.

Hello Phil
I have to agree with Nick re the colour, seems OK to me, and I think the sharpening is spot on.
I'm no doctor, but personally I have found that when under a lot of stress, my eyes have not performed too well during the last few months.
Best wishes
Phil

Hi Phil,

Yes I am sure you are right, that plus a lack of sleep.

Hope all is well with you.

Hi Phil

Sympathise strongly as I am having exactly the same problem - combination of advancing middle age and too much time staring at golfish bowl quality CRTs at work. Image looks just about right to me (with my reading glasses on!)

Oh dear, I am struggling in the same way and I do symphathise with you, it is just not amusing.
Sweet shot.

Looks fine to me too Phil. Can't see the yellow on my monitor other than what I'd regard as the lighting. Scruffy git though
