The wife and had some scheduled vacation and rented a cabin up at Lost Lake for a couple nights this week. As our luck has goes it was pretty much off and on rain the whole time. However, I did manage to get a 20 second exposure from the standard "across the lake" vantage point.
Let me know what you think.

Beautifully composed! I also love the dark moody feel.
It's you're usual sucky job, Eric. You have such a great eye and technique, this is well seen and well done. If the top of the mountain was not covered in clouds, this would be a million dollar shot.

A very unique image from a highly over-photographed spot, Eric. Kudos for working with less than inspiring conditions to come away with a really nice image!

Eric, its those clouds up on top of the peak that make this a million dollar shot for me....so while Mark doesn't want it....I'll take it......those clouds add so much to this image IMHO!

Very nice, Eric!

Great shot Eric. love the water texture, and the cloud cover on the tippy top of the mountain makes this a bit more interesting, and to a degree, makes the mountain look taller, and more massive.
For locals, not seeing the top of the mountain is fine but for the sale-ability of the photo to a wider audience, seeing the top of the mountain is important. I'd buy it the way it is but someone visiting might want to see the whole deal.

Lost Lake is one of my favorite places. The clouds put it over the top for me. I like it Eric.
