Hi Folks, I just deleted a spam post selling all manner of electronic gadgets. The post was made by a non-member.

If you see such a post in the furure, e-mail me. I will review it and take appropriate action. If you cannot reach me, e-mail Anil Rao or Jim Erhardt.

Thanks all,

-PB

Thanks Preston! We deal with enough spam as it is, the last place I want to see it is where I go to unplug my brain from the daily grind.

Talking about spam. I have a guest list on my personal web site for viewers to leave comments, guess what? Now I am being saturated with spam and advertisments from another nationality. Imagine that, using a web site I am paying for to sell their -----. Yep, I am ------about it. What next?

Jackie,

I once had a guestbook on my site. Not no more... I got the same thing, but spam led to indecent postings and eventually, my site got hacked! I had to reload a number of pages. Kinda scary to think what people are capable of.. :-(

You will also get spam if you list your direct email link on web pages. web crawlers pick these addresses up.. next thing you know your email address is all over the place and spam keeps coming. It never ends.
