Well finally....I got to get out shooting yesterday after a 7 months absence, and boy did it feel good! Last week after I posted what had been going on with me I developed diverticulitis(abdominal infection). Which in turn landed me in emergency room for a CT scan and full blood work and some nasty antibiotics.
So after being bed ridden for over a week I called Rick and planned to meet him at Oneonta around 5:30 for a mellow shoot. I decided to leave early for a bit more shooting before we met, so I headed for Wahkeena and Fairy falls. Having never been up to Fairy Falls I thought I'd hike on up....whew quite a hike I have to say even though it's only 3/4 mile it seemed much farther.
There was some waiting for the sun breaks to cloud over so I could get an even exposure, but it was definitely worth it. What a beautiful falls to just hang out at a listen to after a narly hike. Let me know what yall think of this, I felt so out of it while shooting and processing. Kinda feels like I have to re-learn a bunch of stuff. Thanks for reading and lookin.:)

Nice shot Jeremy....
I would clone in those bright spots on the top of the falls....
this is a pretty classic comp....as there are not too many options up there!!!!
Great comp of a "short on comps" falls. It's really hard to get something different up there but you done great dude. Can't wait to see more Cramtography.

Nice perspective.... they must have loosened up on size limitations.. this looks great huge..
Great to get out with ya and shoot again. Ya did a pretty decent job on this one. I might think it's a little dark. The water is fine, just everything else could use some increased exposure...
lol....this does look huge doesn't it. I have an action for verts and horizontals that resizes and sharpens, I hit the wrong one. It is still at 200 though.
Jeremy, the greens/yellows look a bit desaturated to me (and that could be the crappy notebook monitor I'm looking at, for that matter). I'd second Darren's suggestion to clone out that bit of sky, and then you've got a nice, bold composition!
