Met up with Jeremy yesterday for some eve gorge shooting. I know it is the first time I've been there this season. It was good to catch up with ya big guy. Hope we hook up later next week...

I know the falls are chopped and I'm kinda torn about it...but I think the foreground is actually the strong element here so it may not matter as much...what do you think about the comp?

Shot at 10mm...

Wow, that is such a great little cascade there, nicely shaped and all, thank you november floods!

I dig it Rick, seems a tad yellow to me, but I can deal with it. I would like it more with the falls I think though, looks like a great stitch job candidate. I apologize in advance for stealing this composition whenever I get myself there next

Yep it was alot of fun last night. I don't mind the crop, I think it still works quite well. That little rapid is a nice FG element. It does seems a tad yellow and brighter to me though.

Just let me know about next week....cya:)

You guys went out there and you didn't call me! :frown:

Heck, Rick, I'd crop even more of the falls! Keep 'em guessing and wanting more!

crap...who wants to go to Rainier with me tomorrow...coming back either late sunday night or monday...

I would, but no hope of the mountain clearing isn't very appealing. Now watch, it'll clear and be freaking glorious.

Ooh, Rainer would be cool but I gotta be back in the afternoon on Saturday. :frown:

Beautiful, Rick - the foreground is outstanding! I like your composition just fine, but agree with mark that you could crop even lower and have a pretty cool pano format. Nice!

I like it, Rick, but my eye does want more from the waterfall. It might be worth cropping down to focus on the rocks.

Anyways, how was the water level? Still cold I assume?

BTW, I'm back in the game, call me next time too (like this upcoming Tues for instance)!
