Here's a shot of sunset light on Wetterhorn Peak from an unusual perspective. I waited about three hours at this ridgeline I was on, constantly keeping tabs on the cloud buildups, ready to start running down if the rumbling began.
Funny thing is that I forgot to bring my headlamp up here, so it really was a race against time after the sun dipped below the horizon, to get back to my tent way down below.
Both are incredible shots, Jack! The weather conditions in the linked image are what I live for, and the light on this one is to die for. Very inspiring!
This is great work, Jack - sweet light and an amazing perspective! And I definitely wouldn't want to be sitting there during a thunderstorm! The coxcomb peak one is pretty cool, too; I like the distinct bands of flowers, valley and stormy background. Great shooting all around!
Very nice, Jack. Love the striking composition and that light is incredible. You outta throw a small BD or petzel headlamp into your 4x5 bag, so you can stay out longer

And here's a wildflower shot from the same trip.
Both 4x5, this one at 120mm, the wildflowers at 75mm.
Stopped by the gallery today. Nice setting and nice images on display. Congrats again.
Absolutely stunning light and colors! Well done!
Both shots are superb.
