Well, bolstered by the warm welcome I have recieved I thought I would post another image. taken in Bostwana (May). I only have this one shot and had not realised that I had it until I got home to process the files. Shot early morning, I think he was just having a 'good old stretch', nothing more. As aftrwards he just settled back down on the branch.

cheers Steve

Not a problem Alan, I always like to see EXIF details too, but from past experience I have had flack about doing so, but I will address that on this forum.

Exposure for the whites look bang on, but on my monitor, the blacks could do with a lift to show the detail, but my monitor's crap  Great looking bird...they sound even better than they look!

you received flack due to posting techs

nice image :toast:

Real nice... perhaps a bit central but great action captured, agree that the shadows could perhaps do with just a slight lift....

I think Paula what I am fiding is the shot that has the 'wow' factor I had not realized I have taken. Is that a a good thing?
