While Erik and I were waiting for the fog and rain to lift at Bandon, we went to the Animal Park. I hated seeing beautiful animals in cages, but did take this shot of a noisy Peacock.

These peacock tail feathers make a great design (Ditto on the contrast boost, though). I remember trying to follow a couple of these guys around, but couldn't catch them sitting still enough to snap off a sharp one like this. I visited this place last Summer. It is a bummer seeing all the animals caged up. Having said that, the big cats looked like they were in pretty good shape, but right at the entrance/exit were the most forlorn animals I think I have seen in captivity. The parrots (pulled out most of their feathers and looked like plucked chickens) and primates just looked ready to jump off a bridge.
