Tabaguache View
Marla and I climbed Shavano and Tabaguache yesterday - an epic sufferfest for me. It was our 2nd trip up Shavano, but we didn't do the traverse last time, thus the return trip. The views from Tab were unreal, and I lost count of the 14'ers and named peaks that could be seen from here. The peak on the right is Antero, with Princeton just visible. Yale, Columbia, Harvard, LaPlata........on and on are in this little frame. The views also extended to Elbert, Massive and all of the elk range. For incredible mountain views, Tabaguache ranks high on my list.

Thanks for looking.

Wow - what a view! I'm sure it would have been a sufferfest for me, too, but, given the shape that I'm in these days, my sufferfest would have likely ended well short of the summit. Thanks for sharing a view that I wouldn't be able to take in myself!

Great view Dave! This reminded me of having climbed Mt. Princeton several years ago. The view of the other big peaks is real nice and there's a good look at the valley below.

Glad you made it up, Dave! That is a stunning view. Views like this (and trouble accepting the long slog back down) are what make it hard for me to leave places like this.
