Walking back before dusk set in after shooting some Grebes we came across this little fellow crying his heart out to be fed, We quickly set up knowing the he could disappear at any moment, Dave and i quickly rattle of a few frames, the result speaks (shouts) for itself.

Sorry Mr Courtenay (Dave ), I know you have seen this before. I just love it.

Crop to pano to get rid of the hinge and bolts and you have a cracker.

I'm afraid I am going to disagree a little with John, this is a corking image that shows the interaction between ourselves and nature, mans influence is so prevalent, here we have a woodland/garden bird in a man made environment, IMO well seen and taken.

All the best & hope I am making sense

I have to agree with Phil-thats why i have the same image  The almost monochrome background really sets the little chap off :toast:

Very cute, especially with the open mouth. I think it would work well as a panoramic with the the hinge and bolts trimmed from the bottom. Nice as posted, though.

A great "man and nature" shot. The yellow colour really complements the reddish very well :toast:
