Firey Sky | Tonight
As I sat here watching the sky go from dark gray to beautiful shades of orange and pink and red I realized that my camera was in the car...so I ran down barefooted out to the driveway and grabbed it and made it back up before the sky went back to dark gray then pitch black....

the sky only looked like this for a couple minutes......crazy.....

D70
200 ISO
Jpg on high sharpen
direct out of camera snapshot

I wish we got this more often. Not a bad image alone actually, noticeably oversharpened though.

One of us definitely needs to be in the field when something like this occurs. If wished and wished for a device that would predict the quality of sunsets.
