Anyone want to meet up at the North Rim this weekend? Looks like some good stormy weather moving in all week and weekend. I'll probalby be out there Friday evening until Sunday mid morning.

Hopefully that will be sweet for you. I'm definitely interested to hear what works for you. I'm going to be there in September.

Snow can close the road as early as mid October. The NPS.gov site has more info about the opening and closing of the North Rim. September was simply a good time for me to take this trip. It would still be warm enough on the North Rim at night to be comfortable, but would not be too warm in Zion and Capitol Reef where I'm also headed on this trip.
