Taken again in Botswana (May), it appears that he(?) is infact hopping in this image. However, I don't think the bird was too please after missing out on his free meal.

By going through the resizing process I think I might have lost a tad of detail sadly.

Be good to know the techs Steve as I find them sadly interesting!

Great composition and love the mottled light. Really captured the mood of the bush with this shot. Hard to show a lot of detail with this posting size with an image like ths. Superb :toast:

Looks as though there is plenty of detail in this one Steve, great stuff!

Regards Chris.

Hi Graeme, EXIF details as requested. I omitted this on this image as I noticed a few recent posting did not carry it, however as you requested so nicely here you go :-) Thanks Chris, too. Enjoy

Always nice to see mammals for a change and this one is very appealing indeed. You caught him at an interesting moment.

I like the side lighting which you have controlled well and for a small jpeg it shows good detail in the shadow area. I like the bird in the shot!

Can I conclude from this, we are all meat eaters on this site?

Sad to say that we farmed these magnificant animals for Biltong and meat. They are trully spectacular. Unfortunately they taste good too
