Took this just after sunrise last weekend, absolutely beautiful morning! Had a bit of trouble getting into the bag (glad no one was around to watch ) but it soon paid off as after about a half hour wait this cute fella appeared out of the hedgerow, mind you he only stayed around for one shot! My only gripe with the bag hide it's a bit awkward when a subject appears and you have to quickly move yourself from the head opening to the view-finder, causing a bit of movement that could disturb the subject as it did with this rabbit. I guess I'll get better with practice.
Thanks.

"S**t!!! I've never seen a hedge fighting with itself ....better run..."
Love the expression on buggsy .
As to the bag-hide, erm - it don't get any better - would suggest getting an angle-finder or zigview, or something with a detachable viewfinder/screen.
If you search back we had a longish thread on baghides a few months ago - have you tried wearing a long brimmed baseball cap - it helps reduce movement as you scan around

The best thing you can do with a bag hide is use for a ground sheet One little mod that can help when using a bag hide is, cutting a flap out for the camera back.
It saves all that moving around trying to get to the view finder, if you set it up with your head in the bag hide viewing hole then mark out where the camera back sits then cut the hole out.
All you do then is lean forward to get the shot instead of fighting your way to the camera

The whole thing with this bag hide sounds very akward to me, sounds as if you have to be pretty agile!
