Another waterfall.....I know.......bear with me as we make this transition from Summer to Fall........
This is a place up near my house and the other night when I went up there I was amazed at how low the water was.....usually it's rushing down there is no way to walk to the bottom.....but I jumped in with both feet and my tripod to get some different views of these falls...
the light was low...almost 9pm when I shot this.....
aside from the usual critiques and comments you may have....I would like to know if there is too much at the bottom....I left it there because I thought it gave the water some place to go......I appreciate your comments and ideas....thanks...

Although I like the black at the bottom, it does seem distracting. I can't decide if it is because of the amount of black or just how black it is. Nice work with the water and composition. Is the sky gray at the top?

Hans, I did crop a good portion of the sky out because the trees were sparse.....way too much light up there.....

Darren,
I don't think it would hurt to leave the black space in your master file. The extra space could come in handy for text if ever used for that purpose. But for wall hanging I think cropping just below the ending of the white helps the composition by placing the falls in a more pleasing position.
The processing looks natural, but I'd bet just a tad more saturation would look good. This is a pretty falls.
Did you make it up to Elk Cove?

Nice Darren - I went up there a while back and caught both cascades, but didn't like them too well.. not like this..

Nice choice on shooting the larger perspective - I love to see double waterfalls !
Nice shot Darren, I don't mind the black at the bottom at all. I think a 1/4" crop off the top to eliminate those larger gray sky spots is in order though.
The reflections in the pool between the falls looks nice. Took me awhile to spot it, but when I did, found it to be a nice treat. I agree with Mike S. about the black in the comp.
