I've used Lightroom to post a quick web page with images from my four days in the San Juans. I'd planned to stay longer, but a flat tire and brake problems now have me sticking to paved roads. With all the rain, I think the flowers should remain good for a little while longer. Anyway, here's the link:

Great shots! I really like the image with the mining structure.

Nice work Grant! Thanks for sharing... and Lightroom is great for this kind of thing, eh?

Great images! My two favorites were the Columbines, and the paintbrush with the waterfall, but they're all excellent.

Very nice. I really like the paintbrush with the waterfall. Is that in the Lower Ice Lake basin?

Thanks for the comments. Bill, the waterfall is in Porphyry Basin past the infamous Pucker Point. That road was certainly more scary in my large Chevy Avalanche. But it was still relatively easy compared to heading down the Imogene Pass streambed...I mean road...during a big downpour / hail storm .

Really nice stuff Grant! A like your perspective on the Porphry falls.
Bummer about the truck though.

Grant, I wonder if that storm was the same one I got caught in during a visit to the Cement Creek drainage? I think it was Wednesday. I survived to get to the top of Corkscrew and set up the 4X5 right after. Everything was white and beautiful and I was all alone.

Nice collection of images, Grant. The shot with the paintbrush and falls is outstanding.
