Taken yesterday purely as a record shot highlighting the experiences Gloucestershire is having with water supplies. Due to the lack of support offered to Wildlife Centres, this shows the Bowser that we ended up purchasing half full from good old eBay. £150 - bargain lol
The Owls can stay clean & have fresh water for their daily water baths.
Here you can see Juliette showing one of the Owls (Gyzmo) his new water facilities.
Please note, this bowser is mobile & can be made available & driven to other sites where other animals struggle to get fresh water.
I hope this is OK to post as I think it applies to wildlife welfare, including the wild rescues we have in at present.

Great stuff...I was wondering if you were affected by the tapwater problem or the high water table/flooding even and what about slimbridge?
You are doing such a great job in your own place and for wildlife generally. I do admire you.
I have to agree with Paula, you are doing a great job up there for the wildlife.
I wondered while watching the BBC news if you were the Vincent Jones from Gloucestershire who sent them the message about removing silt from the severn to reduce flooding ????????
Hi brian, yes that was me One day someone might attempt to re-dredge the Severn, there isn't much to dredge really, only about 14years worth of silt build up
Thanks for the kind comments from you both regarding the work I do, you wanna see the grey hairs I have obtained
