Receding Wave
Taken at Rialto Beach. Posted similar view in ES&S a few days ago.

D200, 70-200/2.8VR on Gitzo 1325; circ. pol. ISO 100; f22, 1/3s -0.33 EV.
Converted in ACR then processed in CS3 with curves, cloning of dust spots, and some burning, then sharpened.

Thanks for looking. Appreciate to know what you think of it.

I like it! It has a cool abstract feel to it.

Cool, Catherine! My suggestion, since the top is very non-literal, would be to crop out the bottom third. As the photo scrolled into view I liked it's dreamy-ness but then I was slammed into reality (bummer) by the more literal rocks in the bottom.

I like the flow from the rocks to the silky water behind. Really neat shot.

Nice one, Catherine. I like the ambiguity in the top part where the wave is flowing over the rocks.

beautiful, mystical quality! To preserve that, you might try cropping off about half of the bottom rocky area. The pano effect might be even more pleasing. Lovely!
