Corrected.. Wolf Spider
Wolf Spider Pardosa sp.

Thanks for the Correction Daniel !!!

20D, 180/3.5 + 12mm extension + 1.4 extender, ISO400, 1/800 @ f10, Manfrotto Carbon One + BH1, ACR4.1 + CS3.

Hi,

Spent the morning in the Brambles photographing Dark Bush Crickets (will post one later) when I caught a glimpse of movement out of the corner of my eye... I was allowed three frames of this fast but fully loaded spider.

Not a great image but one I thought would be of interest.

All the best

Phil

frankly i'd prefer spider crabs (for consumption that is)

That said, a great image. I just bought some extension tubes to go into macro (it'll only be my 100th attempt) but i doubt i'd ever get close to even 0.1% as good as you!

i think its a good image. those blackberry buds are nicely balancing the spider in between them. busy but it works (imho)

Great shot Phil - shows the texture of the egg case to a tee :toast:

Looks fine, to me, esp as its a grab shot, looks like a fine, in its environ picture.

Nice photo, but i think your ID may be a bit off. More likely to be a Lycosidae, probably Pardosa sp.

Cheers,

Dan.
