Just got back from a great week on Skokholm, with superb weather. Lots of photos to trawl through. I think this was taken tuesday but i can't be sure.

Your batteries lasted then Jack

Nice image with a good comp :toast:

Wing blur looks nice but can you try a hipass filter to sharpen the feet a tad??

Look forward to seeing more from the trip

Hi Jack,

Good potential here, you have caught a great flight pose, with a little bit of work it makes a great image, I do feel it needs a touch more room at the bottom....

Hope this is OK I took the liberty of downloading and doing a little work, 2-3 mins max...

Converted to sRGB
Slight levels to improve the blacks
Added a bit of canvas to the bottom
Applied my usual USM.

All the best & looking forward to seeing more from your trip

Hi Andy,
Thanks for the comments, yes the battery held out with the loan of a spare camera. I am interested to know, what is a hipass filter?

Hi Phil
Thanks for commenting. I much prefer it with the improvements you made, not quite sure what all the stuff you did to it is. I really should learn how to use all the camera software i have, usually i only change the white balance.

Thanks for the comments John and Helge

Very nice indeed and yes, I do like the re-post.
I had booked a trip to Skokholm a little earlier and it was cancelled due to southerly swells. Great disappointment as it looks like a trip realy worth doing.

Great stuff. I'm hoping to get out that way next year again for a few days. How does Skokholm compare to Skomer?

Hi Matt
Can't compare the two as i have never been to Skomer, but for isolation Skokholm can't be beat. No daytrippers running around either, and it is only a mile long meaning it's quick to get anywhere. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.
