After the post the other day of the falls up on Larch Mt and talking w/ Darren about getting together this fall for a hike back up there, I had a last minute itch to just get out. Too much time in front of my PC yesterday processing non landscape images I think.
Anyway, here is one I know has been shot by MANY. However, since I started taking photography seriously within the last few years this is the first time I have actually made my way up Oneonta Gorge to the falls. I know nothing fancy but I do like the image. I hope my colors are not as off as my last image post. I have monitor calibration software in the mail, it should fix any of these issues.

I like it. It is a really relaxing place to be and photograph. This image seems very natural looking, and I like the three redish stones in the FG.

Adrian, really nice shot. The rocks are really clear underneath the water here. The red ones in the foreground anchor the rest of the photo. The processing looks good, too. No color cast issues here that I see. You have nice, even lighting here.

Thanks Mike and Jeremy for the comments. It was a nice place to be this AM. I went early enough before the weekend masses started showing up. And yes the red rocks are actually what I used to compose the image, nice to see that was noticed by others!

the colors look a little flat-- try playing w/ the saturation

Nice shot, Adrian - it looks just a bit flat to me, but only in spots that might be over-dodged. The left side of the falls and the lower left foreground might benefit from some burning to bring out a bit of contrast and color.
Lots of people getting up to Oneonta Falls this year! I really need to get back there - haven't been since 1981, if you can believe that..! I was a skinny young dude in those days, and there wasn't even a pile of logs to crawl over!
