This was really just a grab shot as my girlfriend and I were driving just North of Heceta Head. I wasn't planning a shoot, but just stopped at this wayside to get some pictures of the sunset and I shot this on the way back to the car as an afterthought. As it turns out, it was the best of the night.
I double processed the raw file 1.3 stops apart to retain color in the left side and merged them. This is cropped, not a stitched pano.

I like the image Mike. Makes me wish that I was standing on the grassy hill there watching the waves at sunset.

Very nice, Mike - this would make for a great commercial stock photo. I could see all kinds of uses for this, given the calming feel and beautiful colors. A tiny suggestion would be to either crop a tad higher, so as to include that group of trees that just touches the upper border, or clone in the gap between that group and where the ridgeline leaves the photo. Just a little distracting to me, especially directly above the house - kind of pulls your eye away from the house.
