Temmincks Stint on nest
Another one from Varanger, Norway. This Temminck's Stint chose to make it's nest just next to a footpath. When I walked by, it ran across the path. I sat down on the path, and the bird immediately ran back to the nest (less than 2 metres away).

Nice enviro shot Helge - fortunate the bird was so close and sat for you :toast: :toast:

Only little tiny nit is the two strands of dead grass by the birds head

Busy, but a great enviro image, minor nit has benn mentioned, but of course nothing you can do about that without unacceptable disturbance.

Hello Helge
It is a busy shot, but every nest should be that way, otherwise they wouldn't be camouflaged.
A very natural image.
Best wishes

Hi Helge

Nice one - as the two Phil's have said a busy image but very natural as it should be!
