'round the bend..
Taken last fall up around the Mount Hood area during a vicious rainstorm. I had to preset the camera based on a reading I took through the window because of the heavy rains. I jumped out...took 3 shots and jumped back in....I took 2 horizontals and one vertical.

I am wondering if the bottom of the yellow leaves on the right work well to follow the road around the bend...I kind of liked the direction they provided...

Thanks in advance for taking the time to look and leave a comment or critique...much appreciated..

Darren

I think it makes all the difference Darren - this is a nicely done comp. even under the rushed conditions you had.. I really like the dark look of this..

Thanks Ned....this is pretty much how it looked in camera...the haziness is rain and foggy mist..

This is great Darren, I love the sweeping lines in this.

I like this Darren. At first it seemed a bit hazy in the trees but once you said it was raining hard it made the mood of the image just right. And the colors are quite nice!

Leads me nicely. I'd like to see a small crop from the top.

I like it Darren! lots of graphic elements and nicely saturated color. I like the way the high contrast works here too. I like how it teeters on impressionistic without quite stepping across that line.

I agree Darren, the leading lines work good.

Print this one to 16x20, double mat it, put it in a nice frame, $400 and you'll be selling this one every time you show it.
