The view at sunset from my camp at 9000 feet on Ptarmigan Ridge, Mount Rainier, looking toward the North Cascades (Glacier Peak is distant).

Love the light play on the clouds. Apt title. Marie just walked up, said wow, and actually stopped to read the description. She doesn't do that very often. I'll bet this looks really cool in the original size.
Very nice Marc. I love the detail and the warm lighting, this must have been spectacular in person...

Looks like a rough view to be enjoying Marc. It's a "with you were here" kind of image. Nice warm lighting in the sky. I would maybe see what it looks like to crop the bottom left corner rock out.
nice comp marc.
i had to look twice to see who posted this as it's not typical of your work that i've seen and imo it's a nice departure from the usual.
my only nit may be that black thing in the left bottom, i think the sharpening brings it more to my attention than if it were less sharp, but maybe that's just the web sharpening. it was there and there probably wasn't any other way to shoot it though.

Gorgeous Marc! The light playing on the tops of the clouds is wonderful! I love this view, I can sit and watch fog rolling over hills from a vantage like this all morning.
Pretty awesome vantage point! Hard not to feel like you are on top of the world when up at locations like this.
I'm not really fond of the lower left rocks in the comp.

Really like how the low clouds cover only half of the image - like fingers extending into the hills. As mentioned above, I might crop the closest rock (without trees) in the LLC.
