I wish there wasn't the gunk/film on the surface of the water, but that's the way it was. Upper right is a little dark, but I like the overall color and light levels.
Boy, I can tell already that this monthly theme is gonna be spectacular! And most likely one of the longest threads ever!
My first contribution is from an awesome trip up to the Snowy Range in southern Wyoming last summer. Brett Deacon and I bushwhacked in to this awesome little tarn for sunrise, and the effort was quite worth it!
Dang - there are some beauties in here already!! Love that shot Brent! I'm sure this could easily stretch into a 3 pager with all the talent in here...

Well, with a growing family, I haven't been able to get out and do much shooting lately, but I do manage to get out once in a while. And finally, a theme I can participate in! Here's my first, from a trip to Harrison Flat a few weeks back. I'm actually lucky I got this shot, since my watch broke my first night out, so I had to guess at sunrise and sunset times for a couple days.
I think this is about 13 verticals, stitched with Panorama Maker 4. http://www.brentmurphyphoto.com/cnp/temp-harrison.html
Really nice pics everyone. I have to admit I'm in a real photography low right now. I haven't felt like working on photographs or posting/commenting much the past few weeks. Work is extremely busy and I have a major certification to study for. Socially, things have been busier too, so that is a good thing to take up more time.
Here's one from Glacier that's one of my personal favorites. I know I've posted it to this forum, but it applies to this theme.
Its too hard for me to chose from my millions of 'normal' shots, so here's a couple of trees from my Treeflection Collection
This is a tree at Florrisant FB.

Hey, you cheated! That's not fair. Actually, I was planning to post a "symme-tree" of my own, so I was rather surprised to see yours. Now I'm just a sad copycat.
Here's an old shot I have hanging in my basement...

And here's a shot from the big lake in Garden of the Gods. I'm always surprised that more people don't photograph from this vantage point.

Good news/bad news reminder: autumn is scant weeks away. (And I will probably be in China during peak color again ) I definitely sympathize with Steve B.!

As much as anything else, reflections are "what I do".
