Mount Rainier Wildflowers

Can anyone give me an update.......are things in full swing up there yet? An update would be greatly appreciated!

Tom, take a look at the post that Marc Adamus started re: the wildflower status at Rainier. It's about half way down the page. In short, not much to look forward to this year.

Was there on Monday. Not much blooming but lots of buds. Only some bistort and magenta paintbrush and odds and ends of fading avalanche lillies. Happily, had the pleasure of meeting Jeremy Cram in person. That was fun. Maybe with the hotter weather this week, more will be in bloom by this weekend or next week. I'm going for another look. In any case, there's been some beautiful weather up there and lots of other things to see. The storm damage- wow- in person, you know you're seeing a force of Nature.
