This is a fall image from a stretch of the Molalla River, where I almost aways see river otter. Very peaceful. Let me know if this photograph does anything for you. (Nikon F100, 50mm lens, polarizer, Velvia.)

exposure and processing look great. nice greens and contrast.
however, I'm not getting any emotion from it... I suspect that if you had moved back or zoomed out, so as to include all the the FG rock and better emphasize the curve of the midground rocks (the ones under the tree) that there might have been a bit more of a graphic element to hold the viewers' interest... I looks like there was a decent reflection of color in the water, so maybe including more water would have helped.
