An image I posted in ESS earlier today and thought it would be nice to post here at CANP in hopes of bringing the fall season on a bit quicker maybe. Enough of this heat!

Nice image, Paul. Makes ya want to be there, doesn't it?

Yes Paul - it's working. I'm definately ready for fall and this is a great motivator. I'm pretty sure I've seen this before, didn't you post this earlier in the year? Or maybe it was a close similar. Regardless, this is beautiful. I love the range of colors and textures throughout. the angle and amount of light is perfect on this scene.
Reno and Lon, thank you for your comments. I'm truly ready to move on from this ugly heat wave we have in So Cal right now, way too much for this old guy.
Lon, you have excellent recall. I posted this for maybe 10 minutes once about 3 months ago on ESS, you probably saw it back then. I needed to do some more cleanup work on it and just got the chance yesterday to work through it. Amazing how quick time goes by.

lol Paul, I always hear that older folks like to MOVE to the desert like Palm Springs because hot weather somehow makes them feel better. Glad to know that I am not in the minority. Fall would defeintely be nice to shoot somewhere, I've always wanted to do Nevada City area in fall.

That's some pretty good color down there in LP. I'm starting to get the itch for fall too. Cooler weather, crowds have gone home, the crisp air..... Thanks for the teaser!
Hi Richard, you know you always hear that about the old folks, it sure beats me as to why. It must be the creeky bone syndrome thing. I always feel better in cooler weather.
Hey Cory, I think we all are looking toward the fall again. Although, I rarely shoot in the Lone Pine area during that season, more often it is Bishop to Bridgeport for my liking. This year I'm not sure where I will wind up, if I head your way I'll surely let you know.
