OK, I'm taking the liberty of including South Dakota in CSNP (and, I'm from Wisconsin!)...
This is from my recent trip to Nebraska and South Dakota. The panoramic photos are nearly done being scanned, and then I'll start on the normal perspective. I'm fairly certain that I'll have another Nebraska pano to put up in the next few days...
This is really beautiful country, Tim, despite the name. The slopes in the center, and just to the left are very colorful. It would be nice to have an image exposed for the background to blend with the rest so that the highlights don't appear so bright. I can also see a multitude of more intimate compositions that might be interesting to explore.

I have to agree with Bill - this does come off a bit bright. It's kind of hard to make out detail in the middle of the image. But I love the badlands - this image makes me want to visit them again!
The image that I have on my computer doesn't appear as bright as the image that comes up through NPN. When I save the image via PS1, I incorporate the RGB profile, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Also, the image on my computer is more saturated than this one (and, the others that I've sent). Suggestions??
Are you converting to sRGB, or Adobe RGB? The web is not color managed so you never really know what you are going to get, but your best bet is to convert to sRGB and hope for the best. Of course, you need to start out with a properly calibrated & profiled monitor or it is a crap shoot anyway...

Thanks,

I'll double check to make certain that the file is saved with sRGB. And, my monitor is profiled! ;)
When I put images up on my website, I don't have this issue; but, when I post to NPN, my images frequently appear washed out, dull, etc.
Thanks,
Tim!
