Eunice Lake - A different view?

I took this snap last year from Eunice lake in Mt. Rainier NP. Pics I've seen from here usually are taken from the big lake, but I thought the rocky shore of the side pool was more interesting. Comments/criticisms welcome!

I really like this, Kartik. The reflection of the light on the peak looks awesome.

I'm just wondering, either a few minutes earlier or later, if the peak's reflection appeared in the "v" formed by the reflection of the trees?

Just asking, cause I think it would have made a great shot even more striking.

It's a nice looking comp. I like it. I would maybe burn down the mt top a little. Also, the front rock near the water looks like it is off because of post work or from a grad. Maybe a little fine tuning here as well. Otherwise a nice image.

I like the colors here and the reflection...I just wish you would have been standing closer to the water as the big rocks in the LRC are too heavy for me!

With the large boulder specifically on one side, the comp seems rather unbalanced. The classic reflection shot, albeit less orginal, would've worked better here, imo. I would attempt to bring more detail back into those trees in front of rainier, I kind of like them as is in the sense that they make rainier stand out a little bit more in their darkened state, but then they also significantly contrast with the light on the trees below.

All in all, you worked well with what you had. Nice job on the processing.

Nice shot but agree with others that the LRC rocks don't help this shot a lot - the sunset light on Rainier should be my focus but the rocks get my attention first. Still a nice shot.
