We due for a lunar eclipse the last week of August on Tuesday the 28th. The good news is the eclipse starts at about 5:22 AM in the Eastern Time Zone, the bed news is the sunrises at 6:00 AM which will pretty much end the eclipse. The Moonset will be around 6 AM as well so any view you get of the eclipse will need to be somewhere that you have a good clear view of the western horizon
I will be spending that week managing to photography Volunteers at the PGA Tour event in Norton, MA and I will try to dins a place for an image!
Good luck if you have clear skies!!
I should also mention that the new moon this month is on the 12th, which also cooresponds to the peak of the Persied Meteor Shower. A good night to get to a dark location and leave the shutter open! (unfortunately I'll be in NJ for a wedding, where dark skies are tough to come by!)
