A few flowers on the Paradise side (repost adjusted)
Found a few flowers this week, lots of paintbrush growing in spots.

Very nice composition; finding any decent flowers to put in the FG is an added bonus this year in particular. IMO, the FG is too light for the time of day this was taken....the lighting on the mtn suggests this was taken right at sunrise before any direct light hit the FG???

I think the GND might have been a tad too strong - I see the line in the trees but this is nice considering how the flowers turned out this year.... I'm not even going to head up there.

It was taken about 25 minutes after sunrise, I did lighten up the trees a bit, not the foreground. Partly to get some detail in the trees and partly to try and get rid of the grad line. The reflection is a little too bright, maybe 1 stop less on the grad next time

I hadn't done any levels adjustments, I just did, I think this looks a bit better

No. 2 is very nice, Douglas - I especially like the grasses swirling out in the lake. Very cool effect on the overall image!

I like the shape of the mountain better from this side of the lake than from the standard roadside view. The grass floating in the reflection is an interesting detail. Great shot! (The repost is improved from the first)

pretty decent for a mid day shot. I'd be tempted to say that that grass is too yellow. Green it up some and this is good.
