Molas Pass
Another one from the archives; last summer on the west side of Molas Pass. Canon 30D, 17-40L.

This is outstanding, Nat. The rolling green meadow really gives a sense of the high alpine landscape.

That's nice! I really like the subtle gradations in the forground light (cloud shadows?) and the golden highlight in the upper right center. The texture of the meadow and trees is incredible.

The rich green meadow lead-in, capped off with the clouds make this very sweet. I think I'll just stare at the image for awhile, if you don't mind.

Cool scene, the mottled light is real nice. Dont know if you dodged it at all, but i think a bit of (more?) dodging on the meadow would accentuate the light.

Very nice. Excellent job waiting for the clouds to create the shaft of light in the meadow.

Classic San Juans - perfect lighting.

Great shot. I like the colors and the low clouds.

The scenery is beautiful, but it's the quality and character of the light that really brings this alive. Fantastic!
