Of Marmot and Men...
During our trip to Canada, I was hoping to get some shots of Darren to go with my Great Sand Dunes beach ball pics, but all I could muster was this shot of a rather bold marmot stalking Darren as he contemplated the beauty of Peyto Lake. He looks like he's smirking; I think he was planning to push Darren off the ledge if I hadn't intervened.

Damn! They grow 'em big up there, don't they?

As sizeable as that sucker is I don't think he could have pushed Big D off the mountain. I think he was sneaking up on Darren to give him one of those infamous Canadian Mountain Wedgies! :biggrin:

Man, that is one HUGE animal! The marmot's pretty big, too. (BTW, that second shot is perfect.)

That first shot cracks me up. The marmot definitely has a sort of "watch this, sucker" look on his face. What a wiseacre!
