Adder
Hi to all,
Apologies for the lack of posts and comments over the last couple of weeks , this has been mainly due to work commitments ( shift work , argh!! ) and the very poor weather weve been experiencing , not been able to get out that much :frown:

With the excuses out of the way here's an Adder photographed in april.

Usm (150,1.0,2 x1) , Cropped

Canon 20D , 300F4IS , Handheld
1/4000th @ F4 iso400 jpeg ( Not sure why I shot at these settings )

All comments welcome

Kind regards
Andy...

It's a great subject, Andy. I like how it fills the whole frame (or part of it, that is ), with concentration firmly on its head.

Cheers,
Marko

Classic Adder-Just needs the tongue out for perfection :toast:

Regardless of the reason for the camera settings the wide aperture is very effective.

Great shot.As Dave said the tongue would of been perfection. But this is still very nice looking shot.

Nice, the f4 shallow depth of field works very well here,
