Just wanted to remind everyone that this Weekend the Persied Meteor Shower will be happening. As Jim Salge mentioned this year there is a new moon so there will not be moonlight in the sky to dim the relative brightness of the shower. The best way to see these showers is to find a place that is dark, not "light Pollution", and watch between 11 PM and the morning twilight comes on.
For some advice look here: http://stardate.org/nightsky/meteors/

The peak will be Sunday night - Monday morning

Enjoy!
