Juvenile Common Lizard
20D, 300/4 + 56mm extension, ISO400, 1/640 @ f8, MN Carbon One + BH1, ACR4.1 + CS3.

Hi,

Another little character from the weekend, this juvenile is about an inch to an inch and a quarter in length, and spent a short while just poking its head out from the crack in an old log, lighting is very harsh, almost mid-day.....

All the best

Nice one Phil,

I love lizards but haven't seen any for years now.

Hi Phil

I think that the lighting really helps make this - the contrast brings out the texture of the lizard's scales. Having the lizard in context also adds to it - good stuff!

Hi Phil

Looks good to me, like the composition and you have made the most of the lighting conditions.

Never seen one myself but now I know what to look for.

cheers

Nice shot Phil. I too think the harsh lighting compliments this. The shadows add to the mood. Often how they are seen :toast:
