If you guys haven't been out on Tower Road up by (58th!?!?!?) where all the new Hotels and restaurants are at, I HIGHLY suggest you all get your butts up there! As far as I know, this is the last unobstructed view of the whole entire front range, and there are just billions upon billions of sunflowers. Been out there 3 times in 5 days already, and each time I keep seeing more and more photographers. I honestly don't know of another place that simply can compare to this.....all you see is Sunflowers and mountains.
So with this in mind, this past Saturday I woke up at 345 am and grabbed my gear thinking that maybe by some stroke of luck, the eastern view on the other side of the street may have a nice view for a sunrise. Well I went down the side road of where the Days Inn is at, which dead ends, and low and behold....yep unobstructed and Sunflowers as well! Not the gigantic billion rows, but wild ones.
Honestly you guys, ya'all need to get out here! I ain't jokin! Heck, do a meet up! There is a Ruby Tuesdays right there, go for Wings and Brews after some sunset shootin'!

Very tranquil and beautiful, John. Impressive dynamic range, too.

I used to have to drive to DIA every week to catch my flight for work. These are nice pics, but there is no way that I'm gonna drive back out there unless I'm going on vacation

Great shot! I know last summer I was photographing a group of burrowing owls in the same area.
See any up there by chance?
