After

Well, I pulled over to this spot on the way to another spot along the coast and had to stay for sunset. I really haven't had much time to work a lot of the images...but I did work this one which was taken after the sun went over the horizon and it was getting fairly dark. The comp isn't stupendous, but something in the darkness of the rocks and the sky kinda draws me in. I dont personally think it's printing material, but I'd be curious to hear this groups thoughts on it. I'm guessing you'll agree with me that this is so-so.

The clouds are very cool as is the water in the lower left corner, but everything else is too dark. Might have potential with more post processing but I agree on the comp.

I like the pastel sky and the water movement through the rocks. Yet the rocks are too dark for my liking, at least for a printable image as you put it.

I don't mind the dark rocks so much. After all they are dark sometimes. What I really like is the sky, and the colors of the water and sky..

I think you have good detail in the darks here. The pastel colors in the sky are very nice, but for some reason it isn't fitting all together for me. Not a bad image, but perhaps not one for the gallery wall.
