Quivira pano
A storm skirted Quivira NWR in central Kansas Wednesday evening. I took this pano, then used Autostitch to put everything together. The current file is 24000x2400 pixels in size. I really don't know what or even if there is anything to do with a pano this size. I've included a crop from the pano in the next reply. Any comments/suggestions welcome.

Here is the crop showing detail levels.

That would make a print about 67" x 7" at 360ppi - in fact you could even print it on one of the little 13" printers. I'll be printing some canvas prints that are almost eight feet long this weekend so that one would fit easily. You would have trouble getting it matted and framed, but if you do it on canvas you would not need to mat it at all. Might look great in someone's board room...

That's a lot of pixels, Rob. It would be interesting to see this printed at least 4 feet high. Admittedly, at 50ppi it might be a little crunchy and the 40 foot room might be hard to come by - but it would still be cool!

Nice job, Rob, I really like the storm clouds here. I wish some of them would come over our way!
