Sierra Colors
I posted this in the ES&S forum but thought I would post it here as well to get feedback from my fellow Californians. I captured this image in the Sierras a few weeks ago juss the sun was setting and reflecting its colors off the peaks upon this stream. Would appreciate your comments and suggesions...thanks in advance!

Nikon D200, 24-120 lens @ f/16 to capture detail in the water movement.

I really like the colors in the water, very nice! I also like the very compact "S" shape, I enjoy large "S" shapes in photos, I think this one works nicely. :-)

Bishop, good colors and a nice composition too. I too like the "S" curve in the scene here, I think it lends even more merit to the water patterns. I might suggest one thing to see if you like it, and that would be the next time include just a little FG shoreline where you took the shot from, it might have a really different look & feel to it. Thanks for sharing this shot here in CANP also.

Lovely. I really the colors reflecting on the water, and the shutter speed provides the perfect action in the water.

I think I would include a wider view of the grasses so it would create a more definitive Z shape. The colors are very nice.

Hi Bishop,

This woks well for me. I like the tight framing and the colors on the water suface.
