Storm over Scotts Bluff
This photo (hopefully, I've gotten the correct color space, etc., incorporated this time!) was taken on my trip last month to western Nebraska and South Dakota. This is a view from the south of Scotts Bluff, in the vicinity of Robideaux Pass, through which the Oregon Trail first passed. The Oregon Trail was moved to the north, through Scotts Bluff proper and Mitchell Pass, at a later date...

Fuji G617, 105mm lens, Velvia 100, f/45, 1/2", polarizer...

Beautiful shot Tim. It shows the formation of a storm over the plains. The color and balance make the shot.

That's a fascinating camera you have there, and the colors do look better this time around! Very nice panorama!

A beauty of a shot Tim. You've captured the vastness of the plains well here. The polarizer was well controlled too.

This is really nice, Tim. Fantastic sky! It's easy to imagine the wagons making their way west...
