Cecil Creek was practically dry on April 1 this year, but at least it was warm that morning. The run of 20 degree nights would come a couple of weeks later.

Your mascot seems to be wondering where all the water went. With the B&W tonalities the creek bed looks like solid rock. Nice capture.

I really like the reflections in this image - they make me look forward to cooler weather!

Very nice work, Randy! I love the rounded edges of the pools, and the reflections on the left. Looks like it was a great day to be out...

Junie Moon is a great hiking buddy, and I love it when she wanders into a shot I'm setting up and stays still for a long exposure, but I figure I'd be wasting my time if I tried to explain to her that she's supposed to look into the frame and not out of it.

It was a nice morning to be out, and we spent a couple of hours noodling around this nice bedrock area in the creek where it stayed shady long after sunrise. Nothing great photographically happened, but it was good exercise and a good time.
