Here's my take on the oft photographed Reflection Lake. It was foggy all morning, but a 15 minute window opened up for the four or five photographers that came out anyway.

This is two exposures one stop apart. Some of the burning on the hot sky may need to be redone more meticulously.

This year's bloom may not be as strong as in other years, but this was probably the single most productive trip I have ever taken.

Spectacular image of a spectacular moment! I am overwhelmed by the beauty of the nature you managed to capture on your image.

Gorgeous image Mike! The atmosphere in this one really sets it apart from other images from this location. Your perseverance paid off with this stunning image. Why don't you post your shots to the main NPN forums, your work would be well received I'm sure? I would especially like to see the image of the Tatoosh from upper mazama in ESS

Again, beautiful image Mike!

This is one of the better Reflection Lake shots I've seen. The flowers and fog make for a great combo here.

Gorgeous, Mike! There's nothing better than being rewarded with a break in the clouds..! The composition on this is terrific.

Thanks all, yes I got very lucky with the conditions on this one. Because I had scouted out the area beforehand, I had enough time to capture three entirely different compositions along different points on the lake shore.

I'll probably get over to ESS one of these days...!

Very strong. Untouchable serenity.

Nice work Mike. The flowers, fog, and early monring light are what set this piece apart from others at this location. I was just there this weekend and was a little late for any grand sunrise image.

Very nice Mike

Geez, everybody's dream shot! Way to go-- to be there in the first place and to stick it out; best use of "atmosphere" and lighting, great technique in processing. Love it!

Your processing is outstanding Mike. Way to go! I have a preference for more saturation here, but not much. Awesome layered scene captured really well.

That's a real beauty Mike. Looks like you have a couple of sensor dust spots to clean up.
