Common field grasshopper
Hi

Common field grasshopper on ivy, mid-stridulation.

I usually use a ring flash for fill, but trying an on camera flash with diffuser, which seems to work OK.

Looks great to me Mark,

He appears to have given you a slight head-turn, which is a bonus, and the lighting is nicely subtle.

Impressive textures on this grasshopper! Contrast between vivid green of background and brown colour of grasshopper is key to this photo IMO.
