***Scroll down towards the bottom for the repost, 3rd image***
Just getting back from MRNP. Will try to process through some others as I get time but I kind of liked this one.
Taken while camping at Snow Lake. The wind was playing with me all evening and I struggled to get many decent images in between the breezes playing with my reflections. After I quickly shot the two I blended for this image it was less than 10 seconds later and I had no reflection again until the alpine glow was gone.
20D / 10-22 1.6s @ f/22 / ISO 100
Thanks for stopping by and any comments!

I got to looking at this after I posted it and realized it seems a little flat. Here it is bumped up a bit...
Yep, playing with the elements. Or in the elements. Or the Elements playing with you. Or in you. Nature photography is special like that.

Not a very desirable location for a photographer camp IMO, but you've made the most of it! I wouldn't have thought to get a reflection of Stevens peak. #2 works for me!

Catherine, you need to put that line in your signature block!
Adrian, the second version looks pretty good to me. Sounds like you came out with the shot you visualized despite the conditions.
One suggestion: try the burn tool with a 2500 px brush (on the large size image) at 0% hardness and 8% exposure. Select the shadows in the burn tool options. Then give one or two swipes across the picture right over the cliff face. It might give a little more contrast without darkening the midtones. It might not improve the image either, but I'd give it a shot.

Thanks everyone for the comments so far.
Marc, you are right about this not being the best camp for photography. I knew it would not be ideal to see Rainier (even from the other side of the lake) but wanted to see what I could do there. Glad to hear I made the best of it! I was trying.
Mike, thanks very much for the PS tips! I will probably try to work on this image some more. If it makes a noticable difference I will repost it.

Ok, here is a reprocessed version. I think I was a little too excited last night to be playing with my images after just getting home (despite not having any grand images). I am sure others do this as well!
Nontheless it was looking less and less correct the more I looked it over. I think this one is a little better but I am curious what others have to say. Honest comments always appreicated!
