One month to go and rutting season begins. The deer are already restless and the group falls apart. This male is to young and will be part of the rut in about 2 or 3 years.
iso 400 1/40 sec. F6.3 Sigma 120-300/2.8 and 2X extender.

Nice one Edwin. It will be good to keep up with this male into the next few ruts if possible.

Very nice image Edwin
That curving OoF branch between the antlers might be a bit of a nit, but a very nice image with a great comp

Very nice, the bg, the fg, the composition, all well thought out.
Very nice, although I guess someone has to say it, I would perhaps like a little more room at the bottom for the virtual legs, maybe with the stag slightly smaller in the frame... looks like he will be quite magnificent in a couple of years time.....

Thanks guys,
I know you are right about the virtual legs Phil but I chose this simply because it looked better to me. Sometimes you take a left instead of right
I appriciate your honest opinion.
