From the summit of Mount Audubon, looking north. This is one of the shot I was able to capture during the brief 1 minute or so of warm light that graced the area last week one morning. Just added one more image to the link, slight variation.
Pentax 67II
Penax 55mm first shot, 75mm second shot.
Fuji Velvia
Singh-Ray 2 Stop Soft ND
Enjoy!

Jody, this is really amazing. Excellent tone, color and texture.

Those are incredible shots, Jody! I also checked out your other recent trips. What a grand portfolio. The alpenglow Bierstadt shots are calendar cover worthy! BTW, as for those Audubon shots, I'll gladly take a very brief glimpse of alpenglow if I can combine it with those clouds.
Jody, I've said it before, and I'll say it many more times I'm sure, but you are a madman!!! And I mean that in the nicest way! Awesome image, and even more so knowing the effort that went into it to be there at that time!

The bottom one is really nice with that touch of magenta in the clouds. Regardless, both are nice.
Very, very nice, Jody! I think I like the 70mm shot just a little better - more color in the frame, and the clouds are picking up a hint of pink.

Sweet light Jody! I like the first wider one the best, with more foreground, and I like the way it shows the long rugged ridgelines.

Beautiful! I like the first one the best with the warm light and wider view. I agree with Brent - to the victor go the spoils. You've been busy lately!

You've been on a roll this summer Jody. I also like the first one, the light seems a little stronger and I like the wider angle.

Of the two I like the second one best. However both shots look awfully blue to me. Even the warm light looks kinda purple. I think a warming filter wouldn't hurt to mitigate blue that the Velvia is really cranking. The detail is breathtaking.

Nice work, Jody. I prefer the second shot for the color in the clouds.
