Wool Carder Bees still at it. 'Triptych'
My purple Toadflax Linaria purpurea has repeated flowering after cutting it back a few weeks ago. Consequently the wool carder bees Anthidium manicatum are back in force. The males are still having a go at the busy females in between sunning themselves on a convenient leaf.

I agree with the above David

Ive never really paid much attention to insect photography, but it is clearly a fascinating subject.

I really must open my eyes more, when i'm out and about.

nicely done

Alan
